Meet Our Team

I struggled with substance use disorder from the ages of 13-36, when I checked in the doors of Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis. I was a troubled youth who was placed in many youth programs, but the thing those programs lacked was Jesus. I was finally set free when I met Jesus and decided to surrender. I seek Him now above all else, and my life has been turned into proof of God’s goodness and that He chooses the least of these to show His redemptive power. I have worked with Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge since 2019. I am pursuing a degree in Christian Ministry and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counseling. This verse best describes my testimony: ‘We escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap is broken, and we are free! Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.’ Psalms 124:7-8
