Q – CAN I TALK TO OTHER PARENTS WHILE MY SON IS IN THE PROGRAM?
A – During parent weekends, families are encouraged to learn together and participate in educational sessions. In a structured group setting, some parents are encouraged to share their experiences.
Q – IS THERE FAMILY COUNSELING?
A – No. We can provide resources and reading materials to support family learning and healing; however we do not offer family counseling at Lakeside Academy. We offer Parent Weekends every other month that include meetings with counselors and teaching staff (similar to parent teacher conferences). During parent weekends we offer family education opportunities including networking with other parents, group discussions, parent-teen discussions, role playing, and access to other educational materials.

A – We offer Parent Weekends every other month that include meetings with counselors and teaching staff (similar to parent teacher conferences). In addition, we provide regularly scheduled updates from the counseling staff and your son’s academic supervisor. Scheduled visitations and home visits are offered throughout the program.

A – You can see the results–right relationships, restored families, truly content and purposeful lives, and refocused futures.
